An interesting project and park off the beaten path.

Meet in waiting area of New Jersey Transit in Penn Station and purchase a ticket for the 10:33 train to Radburn  

(A, C or E train or #1, 2 or 3 subway to 34th St-Penn Station)

The first planned community for residents having automobiles.

The Bloomingdale Insane Asylum (White Plains, NY)

Meet in waiting area of Metro North at 125th Street and Park Avenue and purchase

a ticket for 10:05 train to White Plains

(#4, 5, or 6 subway to 125th St

Old historic hospital on Bloomingdale Road.

(F subway to Avenue U)

Much history before the Revolutionary War.

Champion Tulip Tree in Bayside (Queens)

Meet in waiting area of Long Island Railroad in Penn Station (Not Moynahan) and purchase 

a ticket for the 10:16 train to Bayside

(A, C or E train or #1, 2 or 3 subway to 34th St-Penn Station)

This is probably the largest and oldest tree on Long Island.

Meet on the SE corner of North 7th Street and Bedford Avenue

(L train to Bedford Avenue)

Let's see how they adapted the Domino Sugar Refinery into an apartment complex. There are spectacular views along the East River.
